U.S. Mint Tour (0.7 miles walking or 0.9 miles by car)
Get a behind the scenes look at how the United States Mint produces the coins we use every day during this intriguing 45 minute tour. Along with the history of the Mint itself, visitors learn all about the craftsmanship required at all stages of the minting process, from the original designs and sculptures to the actual striking of the coins. Please note that while the tour is free, reservations are required and space is limited, so try to sign up in advance. Private tours for larger groups with more than 16 people can also be arranged independently through the U.S. Mint.

Denver Botanic Gardens (2.8 miles by car)
Located in Denver’s Cheesman Park neighborhood, this stunning 23-acre park features North America’s largest collection of cold temperate plants from around the world, and boasts a conservatory, seven themed gardens and a sunken amphitheater that hosts concerts during the summer months.
