Make Room for Fun at Denver's Best Breweries

Whether you’re in town for work or play, make room for a little fun at Courtyard®. And, what better way to do that, than at Denver’s most prized, award-winning, and artisan breweries?
Here, you can tour the facilities, order up sample flights, and taste-test some of our city’s finest I.P.A.s, lagers, pale ales, tripels, and more. You can even take a behind-the-scenes tour, when you pair your visit with a stay at the Courtyard® Denver Downtown.
Wynkoop Brewing Co.
0.6 miles from the Courtyard® Denver Downtown
Back in 1988, four guys opened the first craft brewery in Denver, on Skid Row, in the centenarian J. S. Brown Mercantile Building. Today, we’re proud to partner with the historic Wynkoop Brewing Co. on a fantastic downtown Denver stay + brewery tour that showcases Wynkoop’s historic building and brewery, and throws in some sweet (and definitely hoppy) tastings – with your limited-edition 32 oz. Courtyard® by Marriott Denver Downtown Growler, of course!
Sip, gulp, and growl your way through year-round and seasonal selections, including Mile High, an intense, sticky pale ale that’s a hop head’s dream; Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, a foreign-style stout made with – yes, really – roasted bull testicles; and B3K, an acclaimed German-style schwarzbier and true thirst-quencher.
Bull & Bush Brewery
5.4 miles from the Courtyard® Denver Downtown
Back when Glendale was comprised mostly of fields and cow patties, identical twins Dean and Dale Peterson biked past a dairy that would, decades later, become the Bull & Bush Pub and Brewery – a Denver party hotspot that welcomed everyone. In the 1990s, their concept evolved to build an artisan brewery (today, the Bull & Bush Brewery), a Glendale mainstay and award-winning brewery that     distributes only to Colorado.
Here, you’ll enjoy everything from pale ales and lagers, to tripels and around-the-world I.P.A.s. Also available: sample flights and 32-ounce crowlers!
Denver Brew Co.
1.6 miles from the Courtyard® Denver Downtown
Denver Brew Co. may have been born in a handful of local garages, but it’s sure grown up since then: now with three locations (the Platte Street Taproom, Olde Town Arvada Taproom, and Canworks), this celebrated brewery serves up premium, small batch, artisan ales and lagers – flavorful craft beer, served in a setting inspired by the jovial biergartens of Bavaria.
On offer are several year-round favorites – Graham Cracker Porter (pair with tents and s’mores) and Incredible Pedal IPA (because it “takes you on a ride”), among them – as well as seasonal brews, including a few award-winners.
Great Divide Brewing Co.
0.7 miles from the Courtyard® Denver Downtown
In the mid-1990s, when Denver’s brewery scene was in its infancy, Colorado native Brian Dunn founded Great Divide Brewing Co., which would eventually become one of the country’s most decorated craft breweries. Today, Great Divide not only brews and serves some of America’s finest craft beers at its Ballpark brewery and tap room, but also operates the Barrel Bar, home to another tap room and behind-the-scenes tours.
Enjoy ten year-round brews, including Yeti (imperial stout) and Hercules (double I.P.A.), plus more than a dozen seasonal and specialty beers.
